Mission Statement
The African Cultural Foundation Wien (ACF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering social justice, cultural exchange, and empowerment within African and Afro-diasporic communities in Austria and Europe.
Our mission is to create inclusive spaces that amplify Black, African, and Afro-diasporic voices through arts, education, civic participation, and cultural innovation.
We work at the intersection of culture, climate, and equality, using creative and educational programs to challenge systemic exclusion, promote representation, and build bridges between communities. Through workshops, exhibitions, mentoring, advocacy, and international collaborations, ACF supports youth, women, and marginalized communities to engage critically with topics such as decolonization, sustainability, economic empowerment, and democratic participation.

Our vision is a society where African and Afro-diasporic knowledge, creativity, and leadership are recognized as central to Europe’s cultural and social fabric — inspiring a more equitable, diverse, and connected world.
