What to Expect as a Mentor

  • Empower Future Leaders: Your experience and guidance can help shape the careers of ambitious individuals and contribute to their success in traditionally male-dominated fields.

  • Give Back to the Community: As a mentor, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting underrepresented groups, helping them navigate their career paths, and fostering a more inclusive workforce.

To become a mentor, we seek individuals who:

  • Have Relevant Experience: Possess substantial experience and expertise in fields such as technology, media, politics, or related industries.

  • Share Our Values: Are dedicated to supporting Black women, girls, and POC, and are committed to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

  • Are Passionate and Approachable: Demonstrate a genuine interest in mentoring, are willing to offer constructive feedback, and can provide support and encouragement to mentees.

  • Submit Your Resume: Upload your resume or CV to help us understand your qualifications and experiences.

  • Participate in a Call: We may schedule a brief Call to discuss your Mentorship, ensure a good fit, and answer any questions you may have about the program.

  • Get Matched with Mentees: Once approved, we will match you with mentees based on their career goals, interests, and your areas of expertise in the next Co-hort cycle for  March 2027.

  • Mentoring Sessions: Engage in regular one-on-one meetings with your mentee to provide guidance, share insights, and offer support.

  • Workshops and Training: Participate in program events and workshops designed to enhance your mentoring skills and stay informed about the program’s progress.
