Bridging Worlds - BIPOC Women as Climate Knowledge Multipliers

Have you always wanted to create your own climate project? Now is your chance.

The African Cultural Foundation Vienna is offering 20–25 young people (aged 18–35) who identify as BIPOC the opportunity to become climate knowledge multipliers as part of the project “Bridging Worlds – BIPOC Women as Climate Knowledge Multipliers.”

Through this programme, you will not only learn from experts in climate justice, activism, and decolonial approaches, but also gain the skills to design and implement your own community-based climate project. Your idea will be supported both mentorially and financially, allowing you to turn your vision into real impact.

We are awarding a total of 12 grants to 20 -25 individuals to support selected participants:

  • 6 × €300 grants (individual projects)

  • 4 × €600 grants (group projects of 2 people)

  • 2 × €800 grants (larger group projects 2-3 people)

Participants will take part in learning modules (July 2026 – October 2026) before developing and executing their own workshops or initiatives, engaging communities that are often excluded from climate conversations.
